TC oil seals are lip seals for rotating shafts. They are double-lip designs, with one lip facing the inside of the shaft for oil prevention and the other lip facing the outside of the mechanical parts for dust prevention. TG4 oil seals are reciprocating seals with a three-lip design, which enhances the ability to prevent internal leakage. In addition, the outer ring of the TC oil seal is not threaded and is a smooth rubber surface; the outer ring of the TG4 oil seal is threaded for easy installation and enhanced sealing.
Application Scenarios
TC oil seals are suitable for applications with low pollution levels and relatively stable operating conditions, such as automotive engines, light industrial machinery, etc. TG4 oil seals are more suitable for heavy machinery, off-road vehicles, and industrial equipment exposed to highly polluted environments, which have higher sealing requirements.
