As others have said, you will certainly get a better price when selling a watch directly to a buyer. Of course a dealer would have to earn a margin as well, plus I know WatchBox does any necessary servicing and often puts on a new OEM strap before reselling. So there is an additional cost they absorb plus offering a warranty. Taking that into consideration I think that their purchase offering tend to be fair and it saves time, effort and risk vs selling privately. Though, again, you will generally also receive a lower price and that goes for any dealer

I have worked with George and Armand at WatchBox and find them to be extremely helpful and trustworthy. They have even told me when a trade may not be worth it ion my end because a particular watch is soft in the marketplace and it may not make sense for me to part with it at the price that they can offer.

I would highly recommend WatchBox and while issues may come in a particular situation I do believe that they would try to do whatever they can, within reason, to remedy the problem
