Sintered Metal Tubes - Metal Tubes Manufacturer

Sintered metal tubes are special filtration tubes that are manufactured with stainless steel or other metals and rolled with single or multiple layers of perforated metal to form a tube.

Moreover, these sintered metal tubes have unique features making them reliable and suitable for many industrial applications.

Working Principle:

The working efficiency of the sintered tubes is widely dependent on the positioning of the metal tubes in the unit.

Mainly, they are placed in such a manner that fluid is passed through one to another, leaving a maximum number of contaminants in it.

During the passing of the fluid from the metal tubes, the difference in pressure drop throughout the tubes varies; it usually drops with the flow of liquid.

Subsequently, the decrease in pressure between ends results in the slow flow of liquid, and eventually, more time is required by the tiny pores to complete the process of filtration.

Therefore, the larger-sized dust or contaminants particles fail to pass through the pores, resulting in the more clear liquid coming out from the metal tube.

Furthermore, the small pores hold the dirt particles firmly and release them during the backwashing moment of the system.

This way, the contaminants are eliminated from the tube, leaving behind the clean and clear liquid that can be proceeded for more operations.

Typically, they are used to filtrate liquid and gases in the pharmaceutical and petroleum industries to generate maximum beneficial outcomes.
